This article describes a 1957 high school football team in Little Rock, Arkansas.  The team was ranked the best high school football team in the nation at the time.  One of the first racial integrations of that time had just taken place.  Which would later be known as the” Little Rock.”

  1. Using the guide we covered in class, work to clearly state the author’s thesis and key points. You’re hinting at topics here, but not being specific enough about the author’s purpose. You should also extend these with critical appraisals and content analysis using the questions from the Cornell Guide (http://www.library.cornell.edu/olinuris/ref/research/skill26.htm).
